Unless otherwise requested all 4WD Trailblaza™ units are fitted with a Danfoss No. 8 thermostat. This allows the unit to be used as either a refrigerator or a freezer or a combination bottom half freezer and top half refrigerator. Our experience indicates that this suits 95% of our customers. However, a few people require the freezer setting to be colder than what can be obtained using the above thermostat. For these people, we can add a second thermostat - a Danfoss No. 1 - in parallel. A flush mounted switch is fitted to the front of the unit so that the operation of the unit can be switched from one thermostat to the other.
